What is a faucet?

Since smart contracts on mainnet blockchains require real tokens which cost real money to deploy and use, test networks provide a testing environment to Web3 Developers to deploy and test their smart contracts on to identify and fix any issues that come up before deploying their smart contracts to the mainnet blockchain.

A faucet provides free testnet tokens to Web3 Developers to allow them to use the testnet tokens to deploy and test their smart contracts before deploying them to the mainnet blockchain.

Step 1 - Select a Faucet

Choose a testnet that you want tokens for. We currently support Arbitrum Sepolia, Base Sepolia, Base Sepolia USDC, Ethereum Sepolia, Flow Testnet, Optimism Sepolia, Stacks Testnet, zkSync Era Sepolia, Zora Sepolia

Step 2 - Link your Github

Connect your Github account to LearnWeb3 if you haven't already. This helps us protect against scam and abuse

Step 3 - Receive Tokens

Request the tokens and they will be sent to your given wallet address within a couple of minutes at most
